Our goal is to expand, maintain and promote Northern Michigan
OHV routes and trails to off road enthusiasts around the world!
Membership Ride byD.M.G. On May 12th 2012, we held an ATV ORV Trail ride from Brentwood Lodging in Indian River Michigan. We rode about 100 miles from Indian River to the Elbo Inn just north of Atlanta for lunch and gas . Everyone had a good time and we picked up some new members as well as gain local support. When we bring in customers to local establishments the see the real dollars our sport brings into the area and are more willing to get involved when needed. I would like to thank the riders that joined GLORVA that day. I also would like to thank Duane and Brent from Brentwood Lodging for helping with the ride.
E-mail From Page Perry, MDNR:
We will plan on meeting to talk about the trail head with the group when we conduct a site visit for the pending ORV Route proposal. We have biologists available to participate in a site visit on Tuesday, May 22. We will meet you at the proposed TH at 930 AM that day. If foul weather is expected or key players are missing, our backup date is that Friday, May 25th- same time same place. We will make the call by 5 PM on Monday the 21st if backup is to be used.
